As customer service advised us, the bench came back in stock and I ordered one immediately. It shipped and arrived faster than expected, in perfect shape. No problems assembling (we're two seniors). The bench is lovely, looks exactly as advertised. It had a slight stain/varnish smell so we left the little cabinet door open a few days while the smell dissipated. Solid seating, ample storage in the small cabinet and the open shelf, with enough clearance to fit our shoe tray underneath. Highly recommend the Arcadia bench!
My bench finally arrived after a very long wait. Never did get a tracking number. . .after about three weeks it just got delivered. Not sure if the problem was with Ink and Ivy or Fed Ex. Also, if you call the Ink and Ivy customer help number on their website, you only get a person that provides you with an email address to contact the company. No talking with somebody. However, I did get a fairly prompt response to my email. As for the bench, I'm glad I didn't pay any more than I did. Pretty much what I expected for the price. Came packed well, no damage. Was difficult to put together, the door kept falling off as we worked on it. Unfortunately, the door cannot go on after it's put together because the pins do not retract. Also, I plan on replacing the cushion with a much thicker piece of foam and some richer looking upholstery.
